This bust, one of the great men of music Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, was part of a series of sculptures originally commissioned by the Lincoln Center of Performing Arts. They were sold through the Metropolitan Opera Museum Shop.

Mozart is considered among the greatest and most prolific composers in history with more than 600 compositions. A remarkable prodigy, the young Mozart was composing by age 5, presenting concerts throughout Europe as a child. By age 13 he had written concertos, sonatas,symphonies and operettas.
